Apparel reviews of Women's Vintage Paratrooper Fatigues

Customer Review: Strange sizes, but great pants
Rating: 4 Stars

I own two pairs of these pants, one in black and one in olive drab, and I love them. I do a lot of backpacking and hiking and I wear them a lot because I like baggier clothes that give me room to stretch and move around. (Any hiker that has tried to bring their foot to their hip in order to climb over something while wearing jeans can tell you that loose clothing is a must). I also wear them to lounge around the house in because they really are that comfortable. I've had them for over a year now, washed them quite a bit, and they're holding up just fine.
I gave them four stars because of the sizing. I'm a size four and I wear an extra small and I still have to tighten the drawstring quite a bit. For women much smaller than me, these pants just wouldn't work. I'm also 5'4 and they're fairly long on my legs. Of course, when I wear boots, I just blouse them so it isn't a problem, but I do step on the edges if I'm walking barefoot around the house. This is just something to keep in mind when you're buying them, though very few people actually buy cargo pants for a fitted look, for some people they still might be too baggy.

Customer Review: way toooooo small

I ordered these pants and im a size 12 woman....they are so made for little girls...they fit my 8 year old perfectly...I dont recommend purchasing these unless you are a child...

Customer Review: Very large, drawstrings weird, belt needed but nowhere to put one
Rating: 3 Stars

Like one of the earlier reviewers says, the sizes are LARGE. I'm the same 9/10 size as the earlier reviewer, and bought medium (not wanting a "snug" fit in cargos), and find that the drawstring comes loose and the pants fall down, with the zip closed. I washed them hot hoping they would shrink a little, they did, but not by much, and they washed very well.

Maybe if you don't have a waist, they'll stay up. Some of us need belt loops!

The leg drawstrings are far too long and slightly strange, in that the ends to tie are at the opposite side of the leg, so you have string outside of the fabric casing when you tie them. The long strings are dangerous if they come loose when you are walking downstairs. Be aware and tuck them away.

Customer Review: Cargo pants
Rating: 5 Stars

I bought these pants for a trip to Guatemala. The light weight fabric, with drawstring cuffs make them a good choice for visiting Mayan ruins where heat and mosquitos are a problem. Water and cameras can be carried in the pockets.

Customer Review: size runs big
Rating: 4 Stars

the pants run big and the length is way to long - these would be great for people with really long legs
